Everything You Need To Know

ADVS SYDNEY services all of Greater Sydney, including The Hills, The Shire, Canterbury, The Hawkesbury, most of the Blue Mountains, Sydney CBD, Eastern Suburbs, Northern Beaches, Western Sydney, Illawarra, MacArthur and the Inner West.

All of these areas are covered by our complimentary pickup and drop-off service. If you are located outside these areas, you are welcome to post your media to us. We recommend using Australia Post Express with tracking where possible.

Please note that we cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit when sent by post, so make sure you arrange suitable insurance where needed.

We aim to return your media within 2 weeks, and in many cases it is completed within 1 week. Turnaround times can vary depending on current workload and the runtime or complexity of the media being converted.

Our friendly consultant can provide an estimated timeframe during pickup or in response to your enquiry.

In many cases, yes. Most media types can be repaired depending on the type and extent of the damage, including mould, dust, vermin damage, snapped tapes and broken tape cartridges.

However, some damage may be permanent and unrecoverable, such as tape delamination, severe mould damage, heavily scratched or broken discs, demagnetised media and failed hard drives. In most cases, our consultants can advise you during pickup.

Depending on the media type, we do offer upscaling and remastering for an additional fee. This may include HD or 4K upscaling, colour correction and balancing, sharpening, dust and dirt removal, image stabilisation and deinterlacing.

Unfortunately not. There are strict guidelines and regulations around film processing. However, there are still specialist providers who may be able to help. Please ask your consultant for more information.

Unfortunately, we do not offer editing services. However, we can suggest software programs you can use to edit your files yourself.
